About Snout

What Snout does

Some customers now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini for a recommendation instead of searching Google. Snout tells a local business whether those assistants name it when someone in its town asks a buying question, which competitors they name instead, and which websites they cite. It runs the same set of questions every week and emails a short report, so you can see whether things are getting better or worse.

Who it is for

• UK local service businesses. Our first focus is dental and aesthetic clinics in East London and Essex, and the same checks work for any business that customers find by asking for the best one in town.
• Small SEO and marketing agencies. The Agency plan tracks up to 10 client businesses and puts your logo on the PDF reports and weekly emails.

How we work

• We only use each engine's official API, with web search turned on. No scraping and no browser automation.
• Every weekly run is stored as it happened and never edited, so your history is a true record.
• We don't publish numbers or customer quotes we don't have. The full method is on How we measure.

Snout is a product of Codeaxis Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15689322). Prices are in GBP and plans are billed monthly through Stripe.
